    Wolves Fancast Flutter

Luke Thompson looks at who to back for Wolves this weekend and who to go for in an accumulator in this weeks Fancast Flutter.

Right then after last week it’s time to put Spurs on the Hate List, last week’s bet was all but home and dry until Spurs decided to forget how to play football for the last 15 minutes of their match v Stoke, But we go again and won’t let that beat us. We got the correct score in the Wolves game right so that’s some consolation I suppose.

This week Wolves travel to Cardiff for a late afternoon kick off in front of the Sky cameras. Now after the first three league games of the season I think we have found out that going forward wolves will get goals this season, but unfortunately we will also concede them as our defence and goalkeeper appear to have serious trust issues. So this week I have absolutely no idea which way to go neither club have shown any early season form which the bookies also agree on,  pricing Both teams up at 7/4 for the win with the draw at 12/5.

Cardiff have drew all 3 of their opening league games with Wolves winning one drawing one and losing one. Now wolves and Cardiff have met 29 times previously (According to Soccerpunter.com) with wolves winning 12, 8 Draws and 9 Cardiff wins so wolves slightly edge the head to head.  With the last 6 games in Cardiff producing 3 wins each in an odd sequence of W-L-W-L-W-L for Wolves with us winning there 1-0 last season courtesy of a Sako goal. So if that sequence continues everything is pointing towards a Cardiff win, but I like the look of another away day 2-1 Win like on the opening day in Blackburn. A 2-1 Wolves win will get you 9/1 FGS obvious choice is Afobe as always he’s favourite at 11/2. With rumours of him being in the squad this weekend, if he starts I like the look of Bright Enobbakhare at 8/1 but I think I’ll be putting my money on Conor Coady at 16/1 don’t ask why, just a feeling I’ve got.

Right now onto the Accumulators both weekends so far I’ve been pretty darn close but close gets you nothing in this game, unless you have a decent cash out option of course. So this week my main acca I’ll be going for.

    Middlesbrough 4/7 – Bristol City

    Sheff Utd 2/5 – Blackpool

    Wycombe 4/6 – Dagenham

    Tranmere 8/13 – Boreham Wood

    QPR 3/4 – Rotherham

These selections come in at 9.36/1 so hopefully we can have some success this week.

For my Longshot I’ll be chucking in

    West Ham 11/8 – Bournemouth

    Burnley 13/10 – Brentford

    Reading 6/5 – MK Dons

    Fleetwood  11/10 – Colchester

    Oldham 17/10 – Shrewsbury

    Exeter 6/4 – York

Notts County 11/10 – Accrington Stanley

This comes in at a very tasty 356/1 So would be a nice little boost to the coffers.
