    Who we are

    Wolves Fancast are a digital fanzine which provides a free audio podcast for fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.

    We are also a registered Partnership (2912168376) for the sale of our merchandise via the third party website ‘Redbubble’.

    What information we collect from you

    We collect certain personal information from yourself, such as your name, email address and IP address. We also collected non-personal information what web pages you have accessed and when, age and gender through our website analytics provided by Google Analytics.

    We obtain this information from you when you visit our website when clicking on our webpages. This is collected through our analytics provider, Google Analytics.

    We also obtain information when you submit a query to us through the ‘Contact Us’ form on our website. This may be your name and email address.

    We also collect your name and email address when you register an account for our website. This could be as a contributor to our articles. This account may have also been set up for you on your behalf when you have submitted articles to us via our email address (podcast@wolvesfancast.com) for us to publish which is credited to you.

    What we do with the information we gather

    We collect information in particular for the following reasons:

    We require information when visiting our website which is collected through our Google Analytics to understand your needs and to provide you with a better service online, which is necessary for our legitimate interests.

    We use the information such as your name and email address collected from you when you contact us via email or our contact us page in to respond to your query. This has been collected in order to perform a contract with you to help manage and action your query.

    When creating an account to enable you to post articles or for us to do this on your behalf, the data such as your name and email address has been collected for the need to perform a contract with you.

    Users who have an account and have been provided log in details in order to upload their own articles can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

    If you do not have log in details to your account (this may be have been created for you on your behalf to enable us to upload your articles to the website for the purpose to give you credit for said article), you can request these at any time by contacting us on podcast@wolvesfancast.com.

    For information collected via Google Analytics, you can choose for this information to not be collected by not accepting Cookies on our website or changing the settings in your browser to turn off Cookies.

    How long we keep your information

    Through our website analytics, Google Analytics, we will hold your data for 14 months before this is automatically deleted by Google.

    When you submit an email query to us, this will be removed after 12 months.

    Merchandise which promotes who we are and what we do is provided by a third party, Redbubble.

    Access to this merchandise is available through the link on our home page, ‘Shop’. Once you click on this link you will exit our website and we do not have control over that other website.

    We do not have access to or hold personal information on you from this provider. For example, your details when you register with their website or carry out a transaction.

    Information collected through ‘Comments’ and your data

    When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

    An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it.
