O’Neil’s side were held to settle for a point after a tough battle with 19th placed Burnley. The hosts opened the scoring through Jacob Bruun Larsen in the 37th minute, but Ait-Nouri headed Wolves back level just before half time.
Burnley started the game with a high press which put Wolves under constant pressure, but Wolves created the better of the chances.
Wingbacks Semedo and Ait-Nouri were in the heart of majority of the attacks, but were unsuccessful in finding the opener.
Wolves had control of the game, but against the run of play a long-ball found Bruun Larsen free in the box.
Larsen’s struck the ball first time round Jose Sa, and Wolves were behind.
After the break, Wolves had a fantastic chance to take the lead, Ait-Nouri was found through on goal in a one-versus-one scenario but couldn’t beat Muric.
Josa Sa was called into action when he denied Larsen from close range.
Wolves continued to press for a winner and came close through Mario Lemina, but his headed effort was wide.
Burnley had the ball in the net for the second time of the evening, this time through Rodriguez but the flag was raised for offside.
With the result ending all square and both teams settling for a point, Wolves have failed to win at Turf Moor for 14 years.
Wolves will now prepare to face West Ham back on home turf this Saturday.
Burnley will travel to Merseyside to face Everton at Goodison Park.
