Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome Burnley to Molineux on the 5th of December.
Wolves will be looking to get back to winning ways after having two defeats away from home in the league, 3-2 against Fulham and 2-1 against league leaders Arsenal.
Burnley will be travelling to the West Midlands with a spring in their step, coming off a staggering 5-0 win against relegation rivals Sheffield United.
An update on Wolves’ injury list includes: Rayan Ait-Nouri who will remain on the sidelines after an ankle injury the wingback picked up against Fulham. Jose Sa picked up a back injury against Arsenal as he was substituted for Dan Bentley early on in the second half, however he has been deemed fit to play.
Gary O’Neil has said Pedro Neto is “back on the grass”, however there is no date on the winger’s return to first team action.
A concern Wolves fans will have is the recent update on Jonny Otto. The leftback has not seen many minutes under Gary O’Neil, however he is usually on the bench most games. This was until Saturday’s game against Arsenal when the Spaniard was dropped from the squad, in O’Neil’s press conference he admitted this was due to a “training incident” which he has said the club are dealing with internally.
The clarets will have two players out of the squad, Ameen AI Dakhil who has a knock and striker Lyle Foster who is receiving treatment for personal issues.
One to watch in this game will be Matheus Cunha for the home side, scoring two goals in his last two games.
The last time these sides met at Molineux it ended all even with a 0-0 draw.
