O’Neil’s team will travel to Turf Moor tomorrow evening to face Vincent Kompany’s Burnley, who currently sit 19th in the table.
Burnley have won just two of their last 17 home games (D2, L13), and have kept just one clean sheet in that run.
However Wolves have not won at Turf Moor in the last six attempts, the last time Wolves were victorious was March 2010. Matt Jarvis opened the scoring and an own goal from Clarke Carlisle gave the visitors the lead, which was enough for three points.
Despite them sitting second from bottom in the Premier League, Burnley are unbeaten in the last three league fixtures (W1,D2).
In terms of absences for the Clarets: Ameen Al-Dakhil, Jordan Beyer, Luca Koleosho, Aaron Ramsey and Nathan Redmond are all out with injury.
Lorenz Assignon is out due to the red card he received in the recent fixture against Chelsea.
Wolves come into this game looking to bounce back from a derby day defeat at Villa Park.
If Wolves are to lose this game, O’Neil’s side would lose back-to-back top-flight fixtures for the first time since December.
O’Neil has confirmed that Matheus Cunha will definitely be in the matchday squad, following his hamstring injury.
Craig Dawson has a small chance of being included, but nothing concrete.
Bellegarde is still out with a knee injury and Pedro Neto remains absent with a hamstring injury.
One to watch in this game will be Mario Lemina, who will be a key factor if Wolves are to be successful in this game.
One to watch for the hosts will be David Fofana, who has the chance to to be the first player to score for Burnley in three successive Premier League games, Chris Wood was the last to achieve this in 2021.
