Wolves travel to the Emirates this Saturday for a 3pm kick off, hoping to bounce back from a recent defeat to Fulham.
Arsenal will be looking to achieve their third consecutive league win following victories against Burnley and Brentford. Their form has seen them move to the top of the table with 30 points. Meanwhile Wolves currently sitting 12th on 15 points.
Wolves will come into the game without two key midfielders. Mario Lemina and Joao Gomes are both serving a one match suspension due reaching the yellow card suspension threshold. Wolves fans should expect the likes of Tommy Doyle and Boubacour Traore to fill in for Saturdays game. Craig Dawson will be looking to re-claim his place in the starting line-up after serving his suspension against Fulham.
Arsenal have no recent injuries to date. However they still have a few in the treatment room including Jurrien Timber, Emile Smith Rowe and midfielder Thomas Partey.
Wolves’ under 21 Ireland captain Joe Hodge is still out for the visitors with a shoulder injury. Wolves superstar Pedro Neto has also been out with a hamstring injury the past few weeks. In recent press conferences Gary O’Neil has claimed Pedro is “ahead of schedule”. Pedro is still yet to return to first team training, so it would be a surprise if the Portuguese winger is in the squad for Saturdays fixture.
Last time these teams played at the Emirates Arsenal cruised past the Wanderers in a comfortable 5-0 win on the final game of the 22/23 premier league season.
