Wolves came close to an equaliser seven minutes later, Toti Gomes was picked out at the back post but his headed effort was over the bar.

Jacob Murphy’s cross was an awkward one for Jose Sa, who came to collect the ball but bumped into Kilman.
With both Wolves players on the floor, Gordon sidefooted the ball into the roof of the net.
After the break, Wolves made some surprising changes.
Sa was substituted for Dan Bentley, and Nathan Fraser came on to replace Pedro Neto.
O’Neil’s team tested Martin Dubravka through Fraser and Sarabia, but couldn’t find the net.
Substitute Tino Livramento sealed the three points just three minutes from full-time.
Wolves committed bodies forward, and Livramento was played through with tons of green space to run into.
The substitute slotted his strike home inside the area to secure the victory for Eddie Howe.
Going forward, Newcastle will travel to the capital to face Chelsea in the Premier League.
