Wolves went behind twice in the game due to a goal from former Wolves man Nathan Collins and Neal Maupay, however the Wanderers hit back through Nelson Semedo and Nathan Fraser in normal time.

This result enabled there to be a second derby in this years Emirates FA Cup, firstly we had Sunderland against Newcastle. Now we will have West Bromwich Albion against Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 28.
Collins scored his first goal at Molineux, for Brentford, in the 13th minute as the ball fell to him in the box following a Kristoffer Ajer header the Irish centre back hit the ball on the turn to beat Jose Sa into the bottom left corner.
Wolves fought back with a flurry of chances but nothing to show for it, until the 36th minute when Cunha crossed a teasing ball into the path of Nelson Semedo who struck the ball side footed towards goal. Strakosha done well to get down to the first attempt, however the ball rebounded perfectly for Semedo who tapped the ball home into an empty net.
Fans felt this goal would have gave Wolves some momentum, however the visitors once again took the lead just six minutes after the break.
Keane Lewis-Potter played a ball into Josh Dasilva who bundled the ball through the Wolves defence on a plate for Neal Maupay who slotted it away comfortably.
The flag was raised for offside originally, however after a two-minute VAR check, the goal was given.
It took Wolves exactly twenty minutes to make the scores level again. Substitute and academy graduate Nathan Fraser took one touch to set himself before striking the ball hard and low past Strakosha.
The 18-year-old was provided another chance just minutes later. A pass from Cunha inside the box Fraser opened his body up to strike but Strakosha done excellent to keep the scores level and keep his team in the game.
Deep into extra-time, Wolves were awarded a penalty as Pedro Neto was tripped inside the area. Wolves number 12 Matheus Cunha stepped up and side footed the ball into the bottom left hand corner from 12 yards. Sending Wolves into the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Wolves will travel to the Hawthorns at the end of the month for the next round, the first Black Country derby with fans for 12 years!
